CASALITO is ranked 39th in the 2025 WBFSH ranking of the best sires of CSI winners! As a true Holsteiner sire, he boasts first-class genetics. His sire, CASALL, an internationally successful stallion ridden by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, won Grand Prix classes at the CSIOs in Falsterbo and Rotterdam, as well as at CSI5* events in Monaco, Lyon, Hamburg, Paris, Valkenswaard, 's-Hertogenbosch, Rome, and London. He is also ranked 14th in the 2025 WBFSH ranking of the best sires of winners. His first dam, Lalique II, is the dam of siblings of successful and recognized stallions such as Colicchio (Casall, Holst.), an AHHA-approved stallion who won a CSI 1.60m with K. Vinther, and Cathleen 32 (Casall, Holst.), who competed successfully up to CSI 1.45m. His second dam, Dimona, also boasts numerous high-caliber offspring, including Logo 28, who competed successfully up to CSI 1.60m; Rarität 13, who competed successfully at CSI 1.60m; Tamina I, the dam of Conor Pass, who competed at CSIOY and the 2022 European Championships for Young Riders; Calore van de Helle, who placed in CSI 1.60m Grand Prix; and Zimone van de Helle, who competed successfully at CSI 1.60m. This genetic line belongs to the prestigious Holsteiner 18a2 dam line, widely recognized as one of the most fertile in the studbook and the origin of many successful stallions and international winners. Between 2015 and 2018, Casalito competed under Christian Hess in CSI-YH classes for 6- to 8-year-old horses before gradually working his way up to the CSI class (1.50 m), where he achieved numerous placings. As a six-year-old, he reached the final of the Bundeschampionat (German National Championships) and became the Holsteiner State Champion at the age of seven. His notable achievements include 7th place in a 1.50m class at the CSI3* in Herning in 2018, 9th place in a 1.50m class at the CSI4* in Munich in 2017, and 2nd place in the 1.45m Grand Prix at the CSI1* in Neumünster in 2017.
