Kasanova, winner of the 2013 BWP stallion licensing, is a son of our top sire Bamako de Muze and the international Grand Prix mare Everlychin de la Pomme, who is also the dam of the sadly deceased Latour VDM, also a BWP champion stallion. Kasanova was bred by Karline De Brabander and is now trained to the highest level by Koen Vereecke. A complete list of all his achievements would be too extensive, but the highlight was undoubtedly his clear double-round victory in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. They also went clear in Falsterbo and Hickstead. In 2023, they achieved top placings in the GP5* at Falsterbo and Rome. Last year, they won the GP4* at Wiesbaden and finished fifth and sixth in the GP5* at Stephex Masters and Dublin. His oldest offspring (born in 2014 and 2015) also appear very promising. From his first crop, H5 Origi Horta is jumping at the highest level. Kalimera van de Nethe Z, Pommery van het IJzeren Lindehof, Oklahoma van de Zelm, and Olympic van het Merrethof have also attracted attention. His younger crop is even more impressive. More than ten sons of Kasanova have been licensed at various stallion licensing events in recent years. Bamako's successor thus seems assured.
