Valentino Boy is a new addition to the studbook. This stallion was born in 2018 from the pairing of Vivant (by Vivant van de Heffinck) and Carlina IV (by R-Corlina, by Carvallo BB). His sire, Vivant, competed for many years at the five-star level in show jumping and participated in the London Olympic Games as well as the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and Caen. His offspring are also increasingly establishing themselves. The record of his dam, Carlina IV, is equally impressive. Carlina IV won the World Cup competitions in Helsinki and Oslo, finished third twice in the World Cup Final, and second in the Grand Prix of Aachen. She also competed in the London Olympic Games, the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, and the European Championships in Madrid. Her dam line includes the foundation sires Corrado I, Chellano Z, and the 1.60m show jumper Cassiato (by Concerto II). At the BWP stallion licensing, Valentino Boy impressed with his jumping ability, rideability, and temperament, and was subsequently approved. The young stallion is now already jumping at the 1.35m level with outstanding results. For example, in 2024 he was the highest-placed six-year-old in the final of the six- and seven-year-old classes in Valkenswaard.
