A Traces certificate is mandatory for the international shipment of horse semen.

The prerequisite is the complete availability of all seed and origin documents.

Preparation of all customs and export documents in cooperation with the veterinary authorities.

Selecting a suitable logistics company depending on the destination country

The costs for shipping frozen semen for horses are comprised as follows:

• Traces certificate: €100.00 plus VAT per document (costs passed on by the veterinary office for its creation)
• Rental fee for shipping container including nitrogen flat rate: €75.00 plus VAT plus deposit.
• Shipping costs: depend on the destination country (on request)

In addition to shipping, we also offer professional storage of frozen semen.

We are also happy to organize group transports from several EU stations – efficiently, safely and worldwide.

Important note regarding EU hygiene status:

Frozen semen with EU or worldwide shipping status must be permanently stored in an approved EU facility. Otherwise, the frozen semen loses its hygienic status and may no longer be shipped internationally.
