Fantomas is an exceptional horse, born from the extraordinary combination of Sandro Boy, For Pleasure, and Darco. His great-grandmother, Nikita de Laubry, herself jumped at the highest level, and Fantomas' dam, Cordula de Laubry, is rightly considered one of the best broodmares in the world. She is the dam of no fewer than eight offspring successful at the 1.60m level, including Brooklyn Heights (from Jorden van de Kruishoeve's stable), Igor de Muze, Global, Lord de Muze, and our stallion, Lector van den Bisschop. Fantomas himself competed at the highest level of show jumping, shining with his unlimited jumping ability and phenomenal temperament. For example, he won two international 3* competitions in 2018, finished second in the Opglabbeek GP3* in 2019, and fifth in the Oliva GP3* in 2020. Fantomas de Muze previously won Sires of the World in Lanaken, CSI-W London Puissance, and placed fourth at the Belgian Championship in 2016. Although his offspring are not numerous, they all appear to possess great talent for the highest levels. Consider, for example, Karlin van 't Vennehof, Feromas van Beek Z, Funky Fred vh Marienshof Z, Qonquest de Rigo, Namamia, and Orleans van de Kruishoeve. It is no wonder that Fantomas has already been appointed a BWP ambassador.
